I have gotten pretty deep into MCP servers over the last few months and it has changed what I think the editor is for. It is not really a code editor for me any more, it is the place i keep an agent that has context on my stuff. So far i have it wired to my notes, my task tracker, and a postgres instance I poke at for analytics. all of that is fine and all of it is what you would expect. What I keep wondering about is the stuff that lives outside a repo entirely. The obvious one for me is our website content. we have a pile of markdown, a csv export from an old system, and a folder of screenshots that all need to become real structured content somewhere. doing that in a browser UI field by field is a genuinely miserable afternoon and it is exac
