GitHub connector is "Connected" in Settings but doesn't work anywhere — Cowork, chat, nothing

Connected GitHub in Settings → Connectors, shows a green checkmark. But it doesn't actually work anywhere — not in Cowork, not in a regular chat. Claude says it has no GitHub access at all, in every fresh session I try. Tried the "+" → "Add from GitHub" option inside chat too — it lets you pick a repo, but I still can't confirm it actually reads or writes anything.
