How are you guys handling database access from Cursor through MCP?

I’m using Cursor more heavily lately and want to let the agent query our PostgreSQL databases without giving it direct write access. The local MCP setup works, but once I have multiple projects/environments, keeping connection strings, credentials and config files synced starts getting annoying. I’m also trying to avoid having a different MCP setup for every machine.
